W.W.S.C. presents

2026 Mt Olympus
Tarnspiel Curling Day

Saturday 8 August 2026

Weather postponement day: Sunday 9 August
(the helicopter will not run on Sunday 9 August)

Get ready for one of W.W.S.C.'s most unique and memorable events of the year — curling with the Gods on the alpine tarn, New Zealand's highest-altitude curling event. Snow-blown ice, smooth stones, dress-ups, helicopter action and good times for all ages.

Not a skier? No problem — we're running helicopter lifts from the Bottom Hut up to the Tarn so everyone can join in on the fun.
