Club Membership summary:

Please note we will be shortly renewing our club rules to comply with the new act:

 

The new 2022 Act provides for the repeal of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 (the 1908 Act) and the Incorporated Societies Regulations 1979 2 and a half years after the 2022 Act fully comes into force. During this transition period, the 2 statutes and 2 sets of regulations exist in parallel.

 

 

1. Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is open to individuals who share an interest in skiing and the activities of our club.
  • Prospective members must complete an application form and pay the applicable membership fees, once working bees have been completed and also your membership approved.
  • Membership is subject to approval by the club committee.

2. Membership 

  • Full Membership: Provides access to all club facilities and voting rights at the annual general meeting.
  • Social Membership: ProvidesCategories access to social events and limited club facilities. No voting rights.
  • Junior Membership: Available for individuals 18 and under as of the 31st of March, No voting rights.
  • Non active membership*

3. Membership Fees

  • Annual membership fees must be paid in full by the start of the ski season.
  • Fees are non-refundable.

4. Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Members must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values and integrity of the club.
  • Members are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their guests while using club facilities.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior is not tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.

5. Use of Club Facilities

  • Members are entitled to use the club's facilities in accordance with the club's rules and regulations.
  • Members must respect the facilities and equipment, ensuring they are used properly and left in good condition.
  • Any damage to club property must be reported immediately to a club official.

6. Guests

  • Members may bring guests to the club facilities. Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times.
  • Members are responsible for the conduct and safety of their guests.
  • Guests are required to adhere to the same rules and conduct as members.

7. Alcohol Consumption

  • The consumption of alcohol is permitted only in designated areas, under our club license.
  • Members and guests of members must drink responsibly and adhere to the club’s policies regarding alcohol consumption.
  • No alcohol is to be brought into or consumed in the hot tub unless within the licensed area and under staff supervision.

8. Hot Tub Use

  • The hot tub is available for use during specified hours as posted by the club.
  • Members must shower before entering the hot tub.
  • No glass containers are allowed in the hot tub area.
  • Members must adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the club staff.

9. Disciplinary Actions

  • Any member found in violation of these rules may be subject to disciplinary action by the club committee.
  • Disciplinary actions can range from a warning to suspension or termination of membership.
  • Members have the right to appeal any disciplinary decision to the club committee.

10. Amendments to Rules

  • The club committee reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary.
  • Members will be notified of any changes to the rules through the club’s communication channels.
