Commercial and Insurance Terms
Depending on the nature of the site, rope classification, or insurance requirements, invoicing for the contracted works may be issued by an associated Limited company rather than Mt Olympus Ski Club Inc.
This allows the works to be undertaken under the appropriate insurance structure for the specific job.
Mt Olympus Ski Club Inc, its officers, volunteers, and any supplied contractors act only within their competency, certification, and insured scope.
The client remains responsible for:
• System isolation
• Mechanical disconnection
• Safe access
• Engineering sign off
• Compliance with lift or workplace regulations
By engaging this service, the client acknowledges that rope splicing is one component of a larger mechanical system and final system safety and operational approval remains the responsibility of the lift owner or operator.
We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from works that fall outside our insured or technical scope.
Why Specialist Ski Tow Splicing Matters
Tow rope splices must:
• Run smoothly over drive sheaves
• Pass cleanly over bullwheels
• Avoid hard spots that shock load the system
• Maintain strand balance under cyclic load
Ski tow rope is a dynamic system.
Poorly formed splices create vibration, premature wear, and drive system stress.
We understand tensioned rope systems and mountain working conditions.
Not Included
